Here are some excellent resources from same-sex attracted, celibate Christians, outlining why God's plan for human sexuality is good news. 

RED - Is God anti-gay? Sam Allberry's book is v short, cheap, and accessible. A great starting place.
RED - the LivingOut website is a treasure trove full of brilliant articles, stories, videos, etc.
GREEN - Washed and Waiting. Wes Hill shares his own story "on temptation, loneliness, and the future hope of healing for gay men and women who want to be faithful to Christ."

Here you'll see some of the biblical, theological, legal, historical, liturgical, pastoral problems with the recently proposed prayers.
